Verwendete Quellen

Für den vorliegenden Artikel wurden hauptsächlich folgende Wörterbücher zu Rate gezogen:

„The New Tibetan-English Dictionary Of Modern Tibetan” (Goldstein 2004), „Glossary of Standardised Terms“ (Department of Education/CTA, Termiology Project 2009), „Glossary of Standardised Terms, Serial 2“ (Department of Education/CTA, Termiology Project 2010), „Glossary of Standardised Terms, Serial 3“ (Department of  Education/CTA, Termiology Project 2011), „Glossary of Standardised Terms, Serial 7“ (Department of Education/CTA, Termiology Project 2014), das „Tibetan-English Dictionary of Tibetan Medicine and Astrology“ (Drungtso 2005), die in tibetischer Sprache erschienenen Werke „Das grosse dung dkar Tibetisch-Chinesisch Wörterbuch” mit dem tibetischen Titel „dung dkar tshig mdzod chen mo” (dung dkar blo bsang ‚phrin las 2002b), „Das grosse Wörterbuch der tibetischen Heilkunde” mit dem tibetischen Titel „bod lugs gso rig tshig mdzod chen mo” (bod rang skyong ljongs sman rtsi khang 2006) sowie „Das grosse Tibetisch-Chinesisch Wörterbuch” mit dem tibetischen Titel „bod rgya tshig mdzod chen mo” (krang dbyi sun 2003).

Darüber hinaus kam das „Rangjung Yeshe Tibetan-English Dictionary“ in seiner im Internet zugänglichen Form (Nitharta internatioal 2010), sowie die online Wörterbücher der THL Webseite (THL 2010) zur Anwendung.

Für die botanischen Namen der Pflanzen dienten diverse Informationsquellen. Die Wichtigsten waren: „Tibetan Medicinal Plants“ (Kletter und Kriechbaum 2001), „A Clear Mirrow of Tibetan Medicinal Plants, First bzw. Second Volume“ (Dawa 1999 bzw. 2009), das „Dictionary Of Tibetan Materia Medica“ (Yonten 1998), sowie die in tibetischer Sprache erschienenen Bücher „bod kyi gso rig dang a yur we dha krung dbyi’i sman gzhung bcas las bstan b’i skye dngos sman rdzas kyi dpar ris dang lag len btus“ von Dr. Tsultrim Kalsang (tshul khrims skal bzang 2008) und „‚khrungs dpe dri med shel gyi me long“ von Gawa Dorje (dga‘ ba’i rdo rjes 1995).

Wenn nicht anders angegeben, folgt die TCM Klassierung der einzelnen Kräuter den Werken von Bensky (1993) und Ploberger (2006 und 2013).
