Regulating the menstrual cycle is a primary task for any practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine – and Chinese Herbal Medicine is the primary resource in the field.

In order to properly diagnose and treat gynecological complaints, it is important to have a clear insight into the energetics of the menstrual cycle. An irregular cycle can mean anything from short cycles, heavy menses, late menstruation, mid-cycle bleeding to amenorrhea.

During this weekend seminar, we will learn to diagnose and treat the various menstrual disturbances by means of Chinese Herbal Medicine. Martine Cornelissen will teach in a very organized and systematic way the core principles that underly menstrual disorders by categorizing them into underactive, overactive, irregular and painful cycles. This way, the treatment of complex syndromes as for example metrorrhagia, PMS, amenorrhea, PCOS, etc. becomes much more comprehensible.
