The book about the 5 transport points written by Wei Chieh Young was originally published in Chinese in 1981. As Wei Chieh Young taught and thought about the subject throughout the years, new content was steadily added to this book until it took the form of the current edition. This English translation took years in the making. Though no translation is perfect, having to strike a balance between capturing the spirit or the letter, we are very excited that this book is now available for the English reading public.
\nThis book offers Dr. Young’s unique and original elucidation of an otherwise overlooked but important subject in TCM. This book will give its readers new insights into better and more effective points selections as well as deeper theoretical understanding of TCM’s relationship to the Five Phases. There are two main parts in this book, the first being an overall introduction to five transport points, including their significance, nature, point locations, and principles.
