It contains 225 formulas and each formula is described on 2 pages. He is trying to show us, how to use the blood tests results in the TCM practice. Fratkin explains, that after treatment with antibiotics you often get another infection after 6 weeks, he sees the reason in the damage of the intestinal flora. He shows us the difference between bacteria’s and viruses, which should be determined by blood test. Epithel bacterial inflammations react very well on Chinese herbs which have antibacterial effect. Especially herbs against damp heat (the yellow herbs, like Huang Qing, Huang Lian, Huang Bai) are very helpful. He explains that inflammation values are very important to check with the blood tests. Especially the CRP should be checked, there are two kinds of CRP the general (the whole body) and the specific one (heart and blood vessels). Also Fibrinogen and Homocysteine are important markers, he explains that homocysteine is one of the main inflammatory markers and fibrinogen is one important marker for plaques. Fratkin explains also the importance of insulin and its connection to inflammations. He also shows the paleo diet, which means to avoid sugar, grains, dairy products, potatoes and rice. He shows damages of vessels, which arise through a high insulin level and how important it is to regulate insulin.

TCM Kongress Rothenburg 2014,
1 DVD, 178 min., englisch/deutsch.

Jake Fratkin shows how to use the blood tests results in the TCM practice, he also presents his new book which contains 225 important formulas.
