The idea of the TCM-congress in Poland

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine in Krakow, we organize an international congress which aims to foster and deepen the knowledge concerning application of TCM in prophylaxis and therapy.

We want to highlight cases, where TCM supports Western medicine and can be used as an equal, effective system of medical treatment.

Goals of the TCM-congress Krakow

1. Review the state of the art in teaching and practicing traditional and classical Chinese medicine in Poland and other Western countries;
2. Focus on promising directions of TCM development;
3. Promoting application of TCM techniques in prophylaxis and disease treatment;
4. Giving opportunity to present own experiences and developed methods in application of TCM.

Here some of the TCM lectures:

TCM diagnosis is a fast and effective method of diagnosis. It allows not only to define the problem with its results and symptoms but also to find out the real cause of the disease and even to foresee potential threats releted to the illnesses.

All lectures will take place parallelly in three conference rooms in Hotel Europejski. Lectures will be given in English and translated into Polish, they will last for 3,5 hours with a 20 min. break.

TCM in Poland

TCM has a long history in Poland. The very first TCM teaching in Poland started in 1986 in Krakow. It successfully continues until now in the Institute of Chinese Medicine and Health Prophylaxis. Moreover, Polish Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded here. Finally, Krakow has the largest Chinese Medicine Centre in Poland, which employs 19 specialists offering full scope of TCM methods.
