New seminars with Kiiko Matsumoto are planned 2024 in Europe
Treatment is based on the feedback system of Kiiko Matsumoto, focusing on abdominal palpation as well as other relevant body parts and acupuncture points. The practical part of the course will include an introduction to Hara diagnosis and the importance of palpation in Kiiko Matsumoto’s style. This also includes how to interpret the feedback received and how to treat if necessary. Kiiko will demonstrate her method of palpation and explain how this leads to the selection of acupuncture points, but also determines the technique of needling (needle orientation, depth, etc.).
Kiiko Matsumoto
Kiiko lives and works in Massachusetts, USA. She is internationally recognized for her scholarly work in interpreting the Chinese Classics and for her ability to integrate the works of great Japanese masters such as Nagano, Kawai and Dr. Kiiko Matsumoto integrate the manaka into a practical and clear style of acupuncture. Kiiko Matsumoto is co-author of the books Clinical Strategies Volumes 1 and 2.
Seminars Components
– Hara diagnosis of the Zang Fu reflex zones compared to pulse diagnosis and confirmation of the diagnosis through the feedback system and points to test.
– Introduction to Kiiko Matsumoto’s Root Treatment and the reasons for her style of acupuncture.
– The feedback system used to select points for treatment, confirmation of point effectiveness before needling and further diagnosis.
Requirements for participants of seminars:
- Basic knowlegde in TCM
- Limited number of participants.
- The course will be held in English with translation.
